From the 1960s TPB made her career in books, as Art Director and/or Editor for a number of major publishing houses in the US and UK. From 1990 ~ 2001 she ran her own small publishing company, New England Editions, packaging lavishly illustrated books. She is the author of several books for children and adults, many written under her children’s book pseudonym, Shirley Greenway.
